DSS Equity Committee

The mission of the DSS Equity Committee is to promote equity, diversity and inclusion within the Faculty of Dentistry. The committee aims to find strategies to address overt and covert discrimination towards historically underrepresented students within social groups related to race, Black and/or Indigenous identity, class, gender identity or expression, sexuality, disability, ethnicity, and religion. We want to create and advocate for an inclusive and safe space for students belonging in those said groups by promoting their needs and ensuring equal opportunity to succeed in dentistry for all students by having equity in both teaching and learning.
